Frequently Asked Questions

PG is a thin, odorless liquid that carries flavor very well and produces a stronger throat hit, which many ex-smokers and vapers desire. It is less viscous than VG (Vegetable Glycerin), making it easier to work with when mixing and filling.E liquids with a high PG ratio are thinner, making them well-suited for low-power devices and pod systems. These devices typically provide a closer experience to traditional smoking. Why not check out our range of pod devices in our hardware section!Yes, DarkStar’s propylene glycol is versatile and can be used in other applications, such as cosmetics and as a carrier in fragrance oils. However, it is important to ensure the product is suitable for your specific application. To ensure the longest possible shelf life, store your PG in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight. Make sure the cap is tightly closed to prevent any contamination. The ideal VG/PG ratio depends on your preferences. A 50/50 blend is balanced for both flavour and vapor production. 50/50 is also suited for use in pod devices. A higher PG ratio will provide a stronger throat hit that mimics that of smoking. It will also carry flavour slightly better than VG. A higher VG ratio will give you more vapour production but isn’t recommended for lower powered devices.
